Owned by Doug Unsworth since 2006 and now run day-to-day with his son Nick, Parker’s focuses on one simple philosophy, do the basics properly and do them consistently.

"After more than 15 years since our last visit we returned to find the same beautiful restaurant we remembered. What we didn’t expect is to be remembered by the owner Doug. His son Nick now runs front of house and the service and attention was impeccable particularly with the two younger kids we had in our party. They were more than accommodated with an excellent choice of kids meals. Our group had a mix of steaks, ribs and the salmon which was so good. Parker’s has been a Geelong institution now for so long and it’s wonderful to see it still going strong. Our 6 year old grand son said as we were leaving “I really like that place Poppy!” Bravo on continuing the tradition of a higher end restaurant that prides itself on service and quality."

"Boutique dining experience in a historical bluestone building. They are open for dinner only. We’ve been here about four times and their Steaks & Sticky Date Pudding are difficult to beat. Parker’s Steakhouse has been owned by Doug Unsworth since 2006, but his connection to the restaurant goes back even further.
Originally from Canada, Doug moved to Australia with a background in hospitality and a deep respect for how good food should be prepared and served. When the opportunity arose to take over Parker’s, he recognised it as a place with history and a reputation worth protecting.
Since then, Doug has focused on consistency above all else. The menu has evolved over time, but the approach has remained the same: quality ingredients, properly cooked steaks, and a dining experience people can rely on.
Today, Doug remains closely involved in the business, working alongside his son Nick, who manages the day-to-day operations. Together, they continue to run Parker’s the way it has always been, with care, pride, and attention to detail.

Do you take online bookings?
Yes. You can book a table online using our booking system, which provides instant confirmation. Bookings can also be made by phone during opening hours.
Do you cater for dietary requirements?
Yes. We’re happy to accommodate most dietary requirements. Please include any notes when making your booking so our team can prepare accordingly.
Is Parker’s suitable for families and children?
Absolutely. Parker’s is a relaxed, welcoming restaurant and is well suited to family dinners as well as special occasions.
Can we bring a cake for a birthday or celebration?
Yes, you’re welcome to bring a cake. Please let us know in advance when booking so we can organise it smoothly on the night.
Do you accept walk-ins?
Walk-ins are welcome when tables are available. For busy nights and weekends, we recommend booking ahead to avoid disappointment.
What if I can’t find availability online?
If your preferred time isn’t showing online, feel free to give us a call. We’ll always try to help where possible.
Is there parking nearby?
Yes. There is a large car park available nearby, with additional options within walking distance of the restaurant.
What is your cancellation policy?
If your plans change, we appreciate as much notice as possible. Cancellation details are provided during the booking process.
